The reopening of Ocean City Fishing Pier, which underwent renovations, was marked with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday by the Cape May County Bridge Commission commissioners and local leaders. The 500-foot fishing pier at the foot of the Ocean City-Longport Bridge on Ocean Drive was revitalized by the roughly $700,000 rehabilitation project, which was entirely funded by the Commission. New concrete picnic tables and benches, as well as renovated trash cans and fish cleaning stations, were among the improvements.
